Cypress Creek Utility District’s (CCUD) election for two Board of Director positions will be held May 4th, 2024. Harris County has notified all water districts that they must hold their own May, 2024 elections independent of other County elections.
CCUD is in need of paid volunteer election officials for the following dates and times:
- Early voting: April 22-26 and April 29-30, 9:30a-7:30p
- Election Day: Saturday, May 4th, 6:30a-7:30p
The hours worked each day could be split into 2 equal shifts if the team of election officials would prefer shorter hours. Election officials will include at least 1 Presiding Judge and 2 Election Clerks. Training will be provided. Requirements for these positions are as follows:
- Presiding Judge must be a qualified registered voter in the County in which the District is wholly or partially located
- All other election officials must be a qualified registered voter in the District
Volunteers will be paid for their time: Presiding Judge $20/hr, Election Clerk $15/hour
