It is with the saddest regret that Cypress Creek Utility District informs its customers of the passing of board Director, Glenn Land, on April 8, 2025. He was known to many in the district for his long years of service.
Glenn came on the board in March 2006, and he served nineteen years continuously until his death. During much of his tenure, he held the offices of Vice President and President of the board.
He brought to his work for the district a significant expertise in the fields of electrical and petroleum engineering. His professional background proved instrumental in his direction of the district through numerous projects and challenges.
He will be missed by his fellow directors, consultants, and by so many who came to know him for his service, leadership, and friendship. The District acknowledges with gratitude the lasting contributions that he made.
