We have some good news for Cypress Creek UD customers. The previously announced water pumpage fee increase by the North Harris County Regional Water Authority has been postponed until July 1, 2020 ( see below notice from NHCRWA ). This means that water bills will not go up, as they have for the past few years, until sometime after that date.
Cypress Creek UD continues to provide services during the pandemic. Water and sewer services are fully operational.

At a special teleconference meeting of the Authority held on Monday, April 20th, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Authority approved the postponement of the pumpage fee and surface water rate increases from April 1, 2020 to July 1, 2020. The Board also approved suspension of late payment penalties for a four (4) month period ending July 31, 2020, subject to submission of a written letter of request from a district to the Authority.
